The solution helps companies make their processes more sustainable and efficient. The award ceremony took place on 11 November 2025 at the Schwabenlandhalle events venue in Fellbach near Stuttgart.

Bürkert is building the future in Öhringen

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is resolutely forging ahead with the development of its plants in Hohenlohe: While construction is still underway in Gerabronn and the expansion in Criesbach has already been completed, the expansion in Öhringen was successfully completed at the end of June and officially inaugurated in July. With the completion of the new building complex and the launch of the automated small parts warehouse, Bürkert is not only strengthening its logistics processes, but is once again showing its clear commitment to the Hohenlohe location.

Everything from a single source

The construction of the new Centre of Competence for Polymers at the Bürkert Campus Criesbach started in July 2023. On a floor space of around 6,000 square metres, a hall was built by December 2024, which combines the entire plastics expertise of the fluidics specialist under one roof. In addition to a materials analysis laboratory, toolmaking and design as well as plastics production technology and a technology centre are combined in one building.

New pinch valve provides secure connection for biopharma applications

Flow control specialist Bürkert has released a new pinch valve for use in single-use biopharma applications. The new Type 2707 Pinch Valve ensures process safety and reliability with a stainless steel locking and pinch mechanism that optimises flow while protecting the tube insertion. The versatile valve, available in modulating control and on/off versions, is compatible with a range of tube diameters, and is fast and simple to fit.
