Type 8098 FLOWave S: available with IO-link option
The Type 8098 FLOWave S flowmeter is now available with optional IO-link.
FLOWave S is a compact inline flow sensor for use with liquids. The flow measurement is conducted using the principle of surface acoustic waves (SAW). This measurement method, which prevents the medium from coming into contact with the sensor, makes the FLOWave exceptionally durable, interference-resistant and suitable even for non-conductive media.
Why FLOWave S uses IO-Link
IO-Link enables the transmission of process, device and diagnostics data from field devices to the higher-level automation system. In addition to extensive functionality for parameterisation and diagnostics, installation can be carried out quickly and with minimal wiring requirements, thanks to IO-Link’s standard push-in connectors and cables.
This allows FLOWave S to integrate seamlessly into your existing system and be incorporated easily into all common fieldbus and automation systems.
