My favourite Bürkert product / multiMFC
This week our field segment manager for gas and micro, Tony Brennan, explains why the multiMFC, Types 874X and ME2X, are his favourite Bürkert products.
'Bürkert’s Mass Flow Management system comprised of a System Control Unit and compact MFCs / MFMs with Ethernet connection and powerful software possibilities. The range are designed for multiple gas flow applications and be used in a büS or CANopen network making them a low cost way of providing a system solution if controlling more than 3 control loops.
Other benefits include high accuracy and repeatability, fast response times, easy integration andreduced installation time in the process control system ensured through system specific device description files. There are optional extras for ATEX II Kat. 3G/D, Protection class IP65, expandable with I/O modules and graphical programming for automation of sub-systems.
