I would have to say my favourite product from the broad Burkert range, is the Type 8098 flowmeter; FLOWave. It’s stylish and compact design is not only appeasing to the eye but it also does exactly what it is supposed to do – measure liquids accurately.
The FLOWave uses SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology and works best for hygienic applications, due to its full bore measurement tube. I also love the use of clean and simple stainless steel throughout the design. Attractive flashing coloured lights are another feature of this ultra-modern design, not there just to look attractive; these lights represent the NAMUR standard and each coloured light means something different e.g. for example, green means 'diagnostic active'. The screen is straightforward and clear, with measurements easy to read.
It’s so light-weight and therefore energy efficient in online sterilization processes; it is the perfect tool for accurate and hygienic flow measurement.
