Bürkert again named as one of the top employers in Germany
In 2019, Focus-Business in cooperation with Xing and kununu.com has once again identified Germany’s most popular employers. Bürkert was – not for the first time – named one of the top employers in Germany.
A large-scale survey carried out by Focus-Business, Xing and kununu helped to determine Germany's 1,000 best employers for 2019. To this end, the market research institute Statista evaluated more than 143,500 employer responses. The data was derived from an independent online survey, a survey conducted by Xing, the leading social media network among professionals, and the employer review platform kununu.com. A particularly decisive factor for the ranking was whether employees would recommend their own employer to others. The previous year’s data was also included in the calculation and accorded a low weighting.
Bürkert is again among the delighted winners in 2019. In the “Machinery and Plant Engineering” sector, the company ranked 11th, an improvement of nine places over the previous year. In the industry-specific ranking of medium-sized businesses with up to 2,000 employees, the fluid specialist even made it into the top 5. “We are delighted with this award. The significant improvement is a good sign that our measures to enhance our attractiveness as an employer have borne fruit in the past year," says Meike Querengässer, Human Resources Manager at Bürkert Group.
Especially in today’s world, it is important to offer employees more than just a job. It is more important than ever to respond to the employees and to offer an attractive working environment and excellent working conditions. “The commitment and competence of our staff are the key to Bürkert's success,” adds Querengässer. For this reason, the company provides a wide range of benefits and offers basic conditions that support and promote employees in their professional and private everyday lives. In addition to continuous investments in modern office equipment and high-quality production facilities, this also includes the flexible organisation of working hours, individually adapted to the personal situation of the employee. Other measures include comprehensive health management, support for further training measures and family-friendly initiatives, such as the kid’s holiday programme.
Further investments in the most important resource by far, our workforce, will also be made in the future. The award as one of Germany's top employers clearly shows that the company is already on the right track with these measures.
