Bürkert is the key sponsor of the "InPrint Industrial Print Research" survey

Co-located with Hannover Messe, a trade show for industrial print technology will be held for the first time from 8 to 10 April 2014: InPrint. Here more than 100 leading companies are presenting advanced printing equipment and manufacturing solutions for the decorative and functional printing sector. During the event, Bürkert along with the show's coordinators will be conducting a survey on the success of the trade show as well as trends and topics of the industry. In this context Bürkert will present itself as a key sponsor of the "InPrint Industrial Print Research".

Bürkert sponsors hydrogen electric race car

The fluid technology specialist Bürkert provided a fluid control system for the fuel cell stack of the hydrogen electric race car "Forze VI". The racing team is run by students of the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. The hydrogen electric race car will attempt to break the record for fuel cell powered vehicles on the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife. Besides records the goal is to compete against petrol powered race cars to demonstrate how fast green technology can be. Bürkert will present the race car at this year's Hannover Fair (Hall: 27, Booth: D63).

New at Bürkert: Type 8697 pneumatic control unit/position feedback

In combination with suitable process valves, the new components produce a compact valve system. Convincing features include an integrated pilot valve with manual actuation, an LED position indicator and automatic adjustment of the end position feedback.

Bürkert valves help TV science show presenter with 360 degree swing

Popular BBC science show Bang Goes the Theory is designed to stimulate interest in technology and engineering, the show's tag line is to 'Discover and challenge the scientific principles that shape your world'. In order to do this they recently chose to test if the childhood story of someone being pushed all the way up and over 360 degrees on a park swing was possible, or an urban myth. Helping to make the water powered jet pack work reliably in the experiment was a crucial piece of technology from solenoid valve specialist Bürkert.
