Creating a long-term technological base with a centre for research & development in Karlsruhe
Aside from the long established R&D locations, Bürkert has also been operating a centre for research & development sind October 2012. The teams at the new innovation centre dedicate themselves to three focus areas:
Support for product development
Here, employees from the areas of electronics and software development, engineering and project management work hand in hand with the R&D process technology team in Ingelfingen in developing process valves and the corresponding actuators and controls.
Central simulation
Specialists for fluid and structure simulation offer their know-how and equipment consisting of high-performance computer hardware and simulation software to support all R&D teams, the Systemhaus locations and E&C.
Research / pre-development
Research projects in the areas of materials, actuators and optics will reinforce our long-term technological basis. In addition, cooperations with research institutes allow for a high degree of knowledge transfer.
