Bürkert’s most popular solenoid valves

Not all solenoid valves are created equal. Yes, we develop incredibly innovative solenoids regularly here at Bürkert – that’s what we do! However, often what is needed is a rugged, reliable work-horse of a solenoid that you can be confident will get the job done repeatedly over the course of a long and distinguished life cycle. The following three Bürkert solenoid valves are the epitome of dependability.

Bürkert 6281 - Diaphragm valve 2/2 way servo-assisted

The 6281 valve is a servo-assisted solenoid valve of the S.EV series. A minimum differential pressure is always required for the proper function of the valve. Various diaphragm material combinations and methods of operation are available depending on the application. Different certifications are available depending on the application and the regional utilisation of the valves, for example ATEX, IEC EX, UL/UR and CSA.
The type 6281 is available in either brass, nickel plated brass or stainless steel body materials. There are versions with either G or NPT threaded process connections. Or alternatively a block flange that can be mounted directly on customer specific fluidic components.

The solenoid coils are moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy. For reduced energy requirement, all coils can be delivered with electronic power reduction. The valve can be equipped with manual override for easy maintenance and commissioning. In combination with a plug in accordance with DIN EN 17301-803 Form A, the valves satisfy protection class IP65 – in combination with a stainless steel housing NEMA 4X.

Features and benefits

  • Servo-assisted diaphragm with diameter of up to DN 50
  • Vibration-proof, central screwed coil system
  • Damped design for quiet closing
  • Moulded housing with high surface quality
  • Service-friendly manual override

Bürkert 6519 – Servo-assisted 5/2, 5/3 or 3/2 way Solenoid Valve for pneumatics

The Type 6518 is a servo-assisted 3/2-way valve and the Type 6519 is a 5/2 or 5/3-way valve. The valve width of 32mm allows high flow rates. The valves can be used individually or in blocks. The valves areused for the pneumatic control of double or single-acting actuators. A solenoid valve Type 6014 is used as a pilot. The use of high quality materials makes it possible to use these valves outside and under chemical atmospheres. The product line contains units with Ex-Approvals and NAMUR flange interface.

Featuresand benefits

  • High flow-rate capacity
  • Reduced power consumption
  • Single or manifold mounting
  • Standard-, Ex mb and Ex ia versions
  • Threaded port G 1/4” or NAMUR flange

Bürkert 0407 - Piston valve 2/2 way servo-assisted

The type 407 valve is a forced coupled solenoid valve with servo piston. The valve opens without differential pressure from zero bar. It is suitable for use on hot neutral fluids up to 180°C.

Features and benefits

  • Special versions
  • Firmly coupled, switching without differential pressure, max. DN50/10 bar
  • Body in brass with stainless steel seat for anti-wear
  • Push-over solenoid system
