Burkert UK is still open for business throughout Lockdown 2.0, and beyond

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues throughout the Autumn and Winter months, we listen to guidance shared from all corners including British and Republic of Ireland Governments together with the devolved Scottish Parliament, Welsh Senedd and Northern Ireland Assembly, as flexible measures and actions are introduced and soothed as required.

The health and safety of everyone involved including colleagues, families, customers and partners remain our highest priority.  The crisis is something that we all can have an impact upon by following advice, looking after our families and caring for the vulnerable.  That said, we wanted to assure you that we have a plan in place and its business as usual.

Supply Chain

We are in close contact with our supply chain in order to try to avoid or minimise negative impacts with regards to supply of product, systems and services to you.

We will continue to monitor and update as information comes to hand.

Actions to protect our people

Bürkert offices are taking a proactive approach in protecting the workplace environment.  We have installed safeguarding equipment and implemented strict protocols for staff and visitors in line with the direction provided by the government, national health department and legal representatives.

We have followed the advice provided and indorsed all desk bound colleagues to work from home and avoid non-essential contact although our office will not be closed and is always staffed.  Through using modern technologies we will continue to be responsive to all needs whilst not allowing the customer experience to suffer.

Our warehouse team are primed and ready to continue facility based operations for goods inwards, outwards and assembly functions.

We have a plan

Our offices are working to full operation and we have a local contingency plan in place to ensure that there is as little as possible disruption to customers over the coming weeks and months where the current trade environment may be affected.

Our strategy is to isolate any cases at an early stage and thus protect employees, the company and our ongoing operations.

We are all well aware that everyone can make their contribution to protecting themselves, others and thus our businesses.  We do not want a culture of control and surveillance but to take personal responsibility.  We look out for one another as only if we act and pull together can we protect ourselves and set a positive example.

Staying connected

We understand how important it is to continue learning and also stay connected.  Our popular Bürkert Spotlight series continues to share training webinars, podcasts and more to keep your minds active and engaged with our technical experts where meetings, conferences, lunch & learns and trade events are no longer possible.  Follow Burkert Spotlight.

Confidence in Burkert UK

Our local business operations are strongly independent, financially secure and equipped to continue business uninterrupted during this period of uncertainty.
